Graham is a founding Seren partner. Graham has had a varied career to date with the common thread being his ability to shape the strategy of organisations and his passion to see individuals achieve their full potential. Graham trained as a mechanical engineer working in the automotive and aerospace industries. After an MSc in Operations Research and Management, he moved to Cranfield School of Management in 1986 to teach Operations Management which soon expanded to include Change Management, Leadership and personal development.
He spent 12 years as Director of Cranfield’s prestigious MBA, working with highly ambitious and intelligent people, influencing and supporting those moving into leadership roles. He actively recognises (and uses his proven techniques to address) the fact that, paradoxically, many high potential individuals frequently doubt their own ability; and in most cases feel unable to discuss this so-called Imposter Syndrome for fear of being seen to be showing weakness or vulnerability, and putting their roles or professional reputations at risk.
Graham sees personal development as the cornerstone of professional progression, and while leading the Cranfield MBA trained as a counsellor and a coach in order to serve his clients more effectively. He has worked with a wide range of organisations including Unilever, Marks and Spencer, ANZ Bank, as well as a number of public sector organisations and charities.
In his spare time, he writes about professional development, has published academic text books, enjoys playing music, belongs to a golf club, and generally enjoys and embraces life.
