Soo is a founding Seren partner. Soo started her working life as an educator in the outdoors; the first female leader of scientific expeditions with the British Antarctic Survey, Soo has an extensive background in leadership roles in remote and dangerous environments, challenging and demanding situations and unusual settings.
She specialises in personal and group development and has used her unique background to develop exciting, motivating and successful methods of working experientially with clients. An unassuming, yet deeply engaging woman, Soo is not one for trying to showcase herself. You won’t typically find her centre stage in the spotlight, instead she will focus a warm, yet powerful beam on those she is working with. Her ability to hold a mirror up to clients, to offer different perspectives, and to help them truly delve into what they need, who they are, and how to progress, is one of the reasons she has so many long term, repeat clients!
She has been coaching for more than 20 years working with people at differing stages on their career journey; graduates to seasoned executives; corporate, public, private and voluntary sectors and in varied settings: in-house, independently, and in universities.
Though Soo has worked and played in many different countries and had a variety of roles and job titles, the constant thread has been enabling others to develop. In her “leisure” time she still leads Adventure, Development and Knowledge expeditions to wild and wonderful places.
